This is a tutorial of how the web site editor and tools work so if you need a refresher course or you are just starting out this is a great place to start.
We will start by going over the 5 buttons in the top right hand corner that look like the ones below.
The first one: is the My home button this button will take you to the welcoming page that you see just after you sign in to your click site builder.
The second button: is the Help button, here you will find frequently asked questions so if you think the question has been ask a few times it is probably listed here.
the third button: is the support button, the support button is used to email a support question to our support staff. when you use this option please put in as much detail as possible so we can determine what the real problem is.
the fourth button: is account, here you will, Edit your account address and contact information, Update your billing address or credit card billing information, Change your password, and Change your member e-mail options.
The fifth button: is the log out button you should press this one when ever you are done work on your site to insure that no one can come along on your computer and mess up your site.
Next we will go over the 4 buttons on the left that look like the ones bellow.
The first Button here is build, in build you will find. Page edit, Graphics, Global elements, catalog, site style, preview, view live, and publish. these are all the tools used to build the foundation of your web site.
The second button is promote, in promote you will find list manager, keywords, categories, web listings
The third button is Manage, in manage you will find. orders, site reporting, online auctions, web addresses, and email forwarding.
The fourth button is experts, in experts you will find. Experts is a live chat to our support team for those quick questions that you have while you are working on your site. Availability AM to PM MST M-F.
The first button we are going over is build, a great place to start in the build button is choosing your site style.
Site style is were you pick the layout of your web site. when you go in to site style you will see over a hundred different styles that look like the image below.
you can choose from any of the sit styles available so don't settle until you have the one you like best.
The Second button we will go over is Page Edit, the first thing to go over in page edit is the two sections the blue and the gray as you will see in the image below.
When you first go in to page edit you will see the blue pages which are the active pages that you can edit or delete, and the gray pages which you can add to your site, please remember the contact us page doesn't work right so you will want to build one from a custom form, and the blank HTML page is for people that know how to wright HTML code. if you are ready to edit a page click icon below.
